Pat Ryan: Student test results are an alarm and a call to action

In a St. Paul Pioneer Press commentary, Minnesota Business Partnership education committee chairman Pat Ryan weighs in on recent student test scores:

“The latest round of Minnesota’s student test scores is out, and there’s little to celebrate. Statewide, barely six in 10 students can read or do math at grade level, and among students of color, that drops to just four in 10 students. These results from the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs) are an alarm, and a call to action.”
