Minnesota businesses recognized for “doing well by doing good”

Fortune recently released its first-ever “Change the World” list, recognizing companies that are “doing well by doing good.” The list is intended “to shine a spotlight on instances where companies are doing good as part of their profit-making strategy, and to shed new light on the power of capitalism to improve the human condition.”

The list includes Minnesota Business Partnership member companies Cargill, Ecolab, and IBM. Fortune praises Cargill for combating malnutrition in India, Ecolab’s leadership on global water-conservation, and IBM’s Watson artificial intelligence system for advancing cancer research.
